"He will yet fill your mouth with laughing, And your lips with rejoicing" (Job 8:21)

To laugh...To laugh...A Profound Spiritual Healing Emotion.

"Laughter is the sun that drives away the winter from the human face" Victor Hugo

Our society gets more serious, afflicted and troubled each day. The news multiplies each day and makesour sky darker portending a storm like we have never yet had. We rub our hands together and our heart beat seems to increase.

It is true that life is serious, but for that same reason we shouldn't take it so seriously. We need to learn to make a stop on the way to oxygenate the mind and the spirit with this healthy remedy of laughter.

The psalmist said it this way: "Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing..." (Psalm 126:2).

Laughter is a profound spiritual emotion, therefore it brings healing.

Laughter is an essential part of emotional healing.

Laughter is a gift from God. He invented laughter, He put it in man's heart to illuminate the face when pain was present on the lips. To grow and  to mature is a learning process of life until we can see in perspective the daily issues in their context, and one of the blessings that help us to mature is to know how to laugh and let the joy of the spirit have its way in the midst of life’s pressures.

"Laughter keeps us more reasonable than anger would" Peter Marcus

While children laugh an average of 300 times a day, we adults laugh an average of 15 times daily. Could that be why headaches have increased?

"...Blessed are you who weep now, for you shall laugh" (Luke 6:21).

"When you laugh, your mind, body & spirit change" Mark Twain.

Laughter is a subconscious tension liberator. Today's world is extremely worried about the economy, nuclear missiles, taxes and many other things, and that has made us human beings like time bombs walking on the streets ready to explode.

"The Human race has a very effective weapon: laughter" Mark Twain.

Next time you find yourself with a person filled with tension, smile at him and make him laugh. His face will shine, you'll see. When people laugh together they feel closer to each other and can endure more difficult times than those that won't pause and laugh once in a while.

In a more profound level, laughter and good humor are the great gifts of God to help us cope with life indifficult times. Laughter is the opportunity to transcend the limitations that blind us to see God more clearly.

Laughter helps us to balance our life in proportion to the trials we encounter.

Laughter drives away depression, pain and despair.

Laughter gives us energy and takes us to a rest place in life.

There are so many good things to a hearty laugh! It is the concrete key that deciphers a complete man.

When was the last time you enjoyed a good laugh, are you taking life too seriously? Why don't weventure to brake the tedium of our existence and learn to laugh with others? Next time you find yourselves with someone that seems to have been invaded by dark shadows, bring him laughter to oxygenate his mind.

My sister Edy sent me this about laughter, perhaps she figured I needed more laughter in my life...being here with the twins you cannot help but laugh all the day long just looking at them laugh all the day long. They get up with a huge smile and they go to bed with a huge smile too, they absolutely blow my mind.

Being away from the ranch at this time is hard. Well, it is always hard being away from my husband, but at the same time I am so thankful the Lord allows me the opportunity to be here and visit with Rochelle.

Daniel perspective: HA HA HA HA HA HA!

"A merry heart doeth good like a medicine."  I know that there are times that I need so badly to laugh and I thank God for the people who can help me to do so. We haven't had much to laugh at lately but God is faithful and we are anticipating times of refreshment soon. (I'm not sure if it will be here on earth or not, but those times will come!)  Please continue to lift up the girls for us. This week is going to be very crucial and we will be seeing if the storm is going to pass or if it is just beginning. We covet your prayers and we love you all.

God bless you,

Daniel & Ana

"But he who endures to the end shall be saved" (Matthew 24:13)

Well, we continue to wait for our girls to be brought back after six weeks of being gone. Things really move quite slow around here. We have continued to knock on doors, plead, beg, but nothing seems to happen. We know we are called to endure till the end, so we continue to wait and hope in the Lord.

I started this report a while back but never had a chance to finish it. So many things have happed since then, I don't even know how to go about telling you everything, but I will try... We had a 15th birthday party for our niece Rachel, we have two ladies from NY visiting, we had our annual women's retreat on April 10th (thank you for your prayers), we had Sunrise Service #13 in Cerro Prieto early this morning, then Sunday Service later on here in the ranch, we have our friends Steve & Shawna visiting from California with their three younger children...

Rachel looked absolutely stunning, yet so sweet!             Suzie & Christy from NY

As you know, 15th birthday parties are not our favorite thing to do, but this is the third one my husband has done anyway. The one before was Dulce's. And as we did with hers, we started praying everyday for the Lord to be glorified in the event, or not let it happen if He wasn't going to be lifted up...Oh, His faithfulness! He answered our prayers again! The event was very sweet and His name was lifted up.

  Nora

We broke our record with the assistance this year. We had over 90 ladies come! We have to find a bigger place for next year, Lord willing. My sister Edy, as usual, was going to be the special guest speaker. She had been preparing for months for the event, but it turns out she was not able to make it in the end. I found out the day before the retreat, that although she had made every effort to be here, she wouldn't be able to come. I was speechless when I found out. But my sister Nora was here, she is a very gifted speaker too and very willing. I asked her to help me, but it turns out she didn't think she could stay (she had come for the  birthday party April 8th and she needed to leave).

It was 8PM the day before the retreat (April 9th) and I find myself numb, I was not prepared to be the speaker, I felt like I was running completely on empty, I was so overwhelmed I didn't even have the strength to reason, so I just told the Lord He was going to have to do something.

Well, Nora, my sister, ended up staying and she was such a blessing to have. We were all amazingly blessed. The Lord was present, oh, His faithfulness! And I had the greatest gift a mother can receive, Roshon  shared her testimony. Those of you that know Roshon, know that speaking in public is not something she would choose to do. She only did it because she totally felt the Lord wanted her to. There were many tears shared as she spoke her heart. Oh how sweet her words sounded to my ears! THE LORD IS GOOD!!!

Lolis modeling the retreat shirt. 'He will be with us till the end.'

Cerro Prieto this morning was quite cold. Unlike other years, only a hand full of people went this morning, I didn't even go, although I wanted to, I was too tired and not feeling so well.

Then we had our Sunday Service at the ranch later on at 10AM. We had all the people from the different communities come. In the end we all shared our food and had a sweet time of fellowship . Do you recognize the place where we held it, Paul & Ruth?...Yes, it is where they had their RV. It worked out perfectly.

Please continue to pray for us as we continue to be in limbo concerning the situation with the girls and all...

Daniel's perspective:

Ana is going to be getting a much needed, much deserved vacation starting on Wednesday. She will be heading to see Rochelle, Brian and the twins!

I want to thank everyone who has been praying for me to be able to sleep as for the last week I have been able to do so with no problems. That was due in part to the government being shut down for Easter week. They are going to be open for business starting tomorrow so I will once again need lots of prayer coverage to be able to get things done with getting the girls back home and being able to turn off things and sleep at night.

I am also running with the needle near the empty mark, but knowing that God has one of those tankers that He can fill us up on the run with. He is SO good and we are so ready to see Him and to be with Him and to be able to drink from the rivers of living water that flow from the throne. Meanwhile, as we wait, we are aware that in the last days the love of many will grow cold because of wickedness and that Jesus questioned if there would be true faith on the earth when He returned.

We are determined that through Him, our love will not grow cold and our faith in Him will never cease. So, if there isn't going to be faith on the earth when He returns, (IF) it's because He is going to take His church off this planet before that happens. ANY DAY NOW! Be ready, be waiting, be busy about our Father's business. The way I understand things, He is coming back for those who are watching and waiting.

This morning, only 8 of us went up the hill to pray and praise the Lord. We had decided not to do it this year because it is quite a lot of work to get over 100 people up there and I just didn't have the heart to do it with the girls not being able to be there for the first time. Rochelle wrote to me saying how much she would be missing being there, but that she would be going to the sunrise service in TN, thanks to her in-laws, who would be watching the twins. I decided last night that some of us needed to go to continue the "tradition" and to just be able to praise the Lord and pray and watch the sunrise on a new day. It was good. God is not far off in times of trouble, He is right there with us through every step of the way. The sun rose and the day was good. The tomb is empty and Jesus is risen!

Remember that the disciples weren't waiting on the 3rd day for Jesus to rise from the dead. They didn't even believe it when they were told that He had. They soon found out that they should have paid closer attention and not doubted His words to them. Now it's our turn to not doubt and to be waiting for Him to come in the clouds. Revelation 1:7 God bless you all as you continue to seek Him and hopefully, prayerfully soon, we will be seeing that promise fulfilled.
